The dynamic country duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, better known as Sugarland who have previously moved about 8 million albums and have placed six of their singles at the top of the charts, have finally announced the details of their fourth studio set entitled “Incredible Machine”, which will surface on the market on October 19.

The duo are currently tackling a tour in the US, also dubbed as “Incredible Machine” and have been wanting to play tracks from the new album, especially the carrier single “Stuck Like Glue”, since their tour kicked off. In a recent interview, Nettles described the first single from the record as “plain, unashamed, sugar-fun”. She also added, “”It sticks in your brain, no pun intended. To me it feels young, hip and, of course, sassy! I can’t wait for it to get out there so we can play it live in our show. We’ve been sitting on our hands to not play it live ’til it was released!”

Last Friday marked the second time for Sugarland – the country duo composed of Kristian Bush and vocalist Jennifer Nettles – to perform at the Sprint Center in front of an audience of about 10,000. The show is part of the duo’s “Incredible Machine” tour which will pave the way for the release of their fourth album of the same title in October.

Sugarland brought with them a complete arsenal of hits spanning from their first release way back in 2004 to their forthcoming release. They also performed a bunch of non-country covers like Bon Jovi’s “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” to Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”. A video backdrop and Nettles’ dancing and bubbly on-stage attitude added to the night’s spectacular show.

The duo started the 85-minute set with a string of their chart topping hits: “It Happens”, “Settlin’”, “All I Want to Do”, and “Want to”. To complete the 5-set opener, they also performed “Already Gone”, taken from their upcoming “Incredible Machine” album.

On May 23, “ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn- The Last Rodeo” aired. I hate thinking of it as the “Last Rodeo.” I hate thinking of a world in which Brooks & Dunn are no longer making music. However it was great watching 15 favorite country singers performing some of the best songs from Brooks & Dunn. From the top all the way to the bottom it was all good. There were, however, a few moments that stood out.

The lineups and dates of the first eight Lilith Fair shows this summer suggest that Sarah McLachlan, the event’s organizer, is committed to a majority of the outings having some country music. Six of the city rosters released on Tuesday show one country act at least including Loretta Lynn, Sugarland and Miranda Lambert. The West Palm Beach and Atlanta gigs have two each.

The Sugarland duo isn’t your typical country music pair. It isn’t likely, for example, that Big & Rich will go up on stage amid an artistic choreography of glowing white umbrellas. You also won’t find Brooks & Dunn soaring over their audiences heads inside giant inflatable bubbles. However during Sugarland’s 90 minute set on Friday night at Bradley Center Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles did both of those things.
